Port 48004 is not Available

During the installation, I'm getting an error that port 48004 is not available.

I checked ports with netstat and TcpView, 48004 is not in use.   What is the problem?

Port 48004 is the default port that the NuoDB Agent process requires during installation. Currently, that default port can only be changed after the installation is complete (using the default.properties file).   We suggest that you:

  1. Disable which ever process is currently using port 48004

  2. Install NuoDB and change the default agent port in the default.config file.

  3. Restart the agent process to enfoce the new port setting.
